Our Goal
World Sports Education is a non-profit organization with a mission of providing opportunities to teach sports to children in regions of poverty. Every child should get to experience the joy and pleasure gained from playing a sport, even if it is just for recreation. Understanding the sports industry has many benefits especially with personal growth, and helps hones skills such as strategizing, communicating with others, respecting your teammates, and following the rules. Good sportsmanship, no matter the outcome, will be stressed greatly. Remaining respectful, humble, cooperative and positive is what makes a valuable game.
Where does the Money Go?
We plan to collect money for a variety of reasons. Firstly, we will be working towards getting equipment to children in mainly third world countries, starting in Africa, access to internet hot spots. This will allow them to gain access to all the educational videos we create, tailored to the limitations that may arise with equipment. In these videos we will also teach the history about that sport in different sessions as an educational lesson. Furthermore, we will use a portion of the funding we receive to purchase and donate durable sports equipment to places in need.
